From site map to detailed interaction design
Think carefully about how you want to use your site and what you want visitors to find and do there. That is the starting point for a well worked out interaction design. It is the very first, and perhaps the most important step on route to an effective web site. An interaction design (IxD) can be anything from a simple site map to a detailed report describing how the visitor navigates through the site, which buttons are needed and where, and in how many stages the process of filling in a form is divided.
